Hello moms and dads! We are staying at Port Orlean's Riverside next July. We were wondering what areas of this resort are the quietest to stay at and also if/when we could request this?

    Hi Wendy,

Thanks for stopping by with your question. You are really going to love Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I particularly like this resort BECAUSE of its quiet peaceful charm. I would say that most of the buildings are nice and quiet because 'Ol Man Island (the main pool area) is on an island and not directly next to the buildings. In most other resorts, rooms closest to the pool tend to be the ones that receive the bulk of the noise.

Beyond that, I would probably suggest requesting Acadian House (Building 80) in the Magnolia Bend area. This building is closest to the North Depot to catch the bus transportation and is toward the back of the resort. If you are staying in the Alligator Bayou section, I would request Building 37. It is also close to that bus stop and is a bit further from one of the smaller pools.

You can make these requests at any time by calling (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) so that a cast member can make the notation on your reservation. Please keep in mind that these requests are not guaranteed and are based on availability at time of check-in.

    Have a magical trip!
