Hello Melissa!
I have visited the Walt Disney World Resort with all 5 of my children when they were babies, and I love how easy the
Baby Care Centers make it for me to travel with them. Baby Care Centers are located in all 4 theme parks, and it is a convenient place to feed, change, and nurse your little one. They also include a little shop that has many baby care items such as formula, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, and baby food, just in case you forget them at home or in your hotel room. Other amenities include a private nursing room with rocking chairs, changing room with tables and a unisex bathroom, a feeding area with highchairs, and a kitchen with microwave, oven and sink.
I also recommend trying to keep your baby on his regular schedule. Don't skimp on the naps and take breaks when needed. I would also keep a bag of snacks with me in case my baby got antsy waiting in line. And bring a camera, because those huge smiles when seeing a favorite Disney character will make your heart melt.
You can use a small baby float at the pools at Disney's Pop Century Resort. I have brought my own before. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen. But if you do, you can find those items in the hotel gift shop. Yes, you can absolutely use Disney Gift Cards to pay for tips at Disney restaurants. You could also put them on your MagicBand and use your Disney Gift Cards to pay off your balance at the front desk the night before you check out. You may choose the option that is easiest for you.
If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you have a very magical, fantastical vacation with your baby. Warning: the magic is addicting!
