Hi there, Todd!
You are just going to love
Disney's Art of Animation Resort! The theming is so completely amazing no matter which of the 4 incredible sections you are staying in.
While the Disney buses do not travel directly from one Resort hotel to another, you'll find that it's a breeze to get around. I always advise allowing 90-minutes for travel time between Resorts since you'll need to go to a Theme Park first. You especially need to observe this when you have an
Advanced Dining Reservation so you can be sure to arrive on time.
There are a few different ways to get to the Polynesian for your reservation at
'Ohana, but my recommendation would be to first take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, you can either hop on the monorail or take a boat directly over to the Polynesian. My family always makes a point to travel on a monorail and a boat at least once during our vacation!
Of course, if you are short on time, you could always take a taxi. I've found that I'm typically able to travel between different locations within the Walt Disney World property for less than $20.
I sure hope this helps, Todd! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!
Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
