    Hi Moms & Dads. 2 sleeps until we're at WDW!! Have carriage ride at POR at 6:30 and will be at Downtown Disney beforehand. Would like to take boat over and back. About what time should we plan to leave DD to make our carriage? Thx for all the help

    Only two sleeps left?  That's so exciting!  I'm so happy for your family.

    Definitely take the lovely boat ride along the Sassagoula River from Downtown Disney to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  That's the most magical way to reach your destination.  Give yourself plenty of time to reach your appointment for the carriage ride.  I recommend that you leave Downtown Disney no later than 5 pm.  The boats are fun but they are not speedy so it is always a good idea to factor in some extra travel time.
