Hi moms and dads. Could you recommend a section close to amenities and bus stops for the POP resort. Looking for a non-preferred section. Also looking for quietest room. Thanks for all you great advice, I read you everyday. Leaving for WDW jan30th,2009

Hi, Josee,   Your vacation is coming up soon.  I hope you are getting excited!

I have never stayed at Pop Century, but I checked the Unofficial Guide to Disney World for some guidance!   According to their reviews, it looks like some of the quieter rooms are in buildings 4 and 5 with East Facing rooms (faces food court and registration building.)   The book suggests to avoid south facing rooms in buildings 7 and 8 due to noise.  I don't know which of these are considered standard or preferred rooms, so you will have to inquire at check-in.

You might want to call and add your preferences to your reservation.  While requests cannot be guaranteed, they will try to accommodate you.  When checking-in, let the cast member know your concerns for noise and that you want to be close to bus stops so they can get you the best standard room available.

    Enjoy your vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
