hello moms & dads! Quick question bout POFQ. Planning our trip for 5/6/14. Want 2 get a room as close to buses as possible. Should we get a garden view, pool, or just a reg view?? thanks all! Can't wait to come back to DW!!

    Hi Eva!

Disney Port Orleans French Quarters is a small resort with beautiful landscape and awesome pool.  Most rooms, if not all, are within a 5 minute walk to the lobby, pool and bus station.

I stayed at a standard view room and was located in front of a grass front yard, where many nights they would show Disney movies under the stars.
The room was quiet and very close to everything.  In the mornings we would arrive at the bus station in less than 2 minutes.

Since you will be visiting during regular season, I suggest booking a standard view room.  When booking and during resort online check in make sure to ask for all your preferences.  I always ask for a quiet room on the first floor, close to the bus station.

Port Orleans Resort offers a very relax environment, excellent when arriving from a long day at the parks.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
