Hi there Moms & Dads! Is there any way to plan a Disney package (resort, tickets, dining) 1.5 -2 years in advance then pay on it every so often? Thanks so much!

    Hi Mary,

In response to guests just like you who want an easy way to save for their dream vacations, Disney last year started the Disney Vacation Account program. The site gives you the tools to plan your vacation and estimate the cost, then save over as long as five years to make your plan a reality.

You can make regular automated contributions to the account or payments as you can. The money in the account can be used toward vacations at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani resort in Hawaii or Adventures by Disney.

The frequently asked questions section of the Disney Vacation Account website will give you all the details.

Thanks for asking about this account, Mary. I was aware of the Disney Vacation Account but haven't used it. Now that I know more about it by researching your question, I think I will open an account to save for my Disney cruise next year.

Please check back with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any more questions about planning your vacation. We're happy to help!
