Hi moms & dads! In the past, has free dining (when offered) been available for the royal rooms at POR? We're trying to plan/budget for a 2018 trip. Thanks~

    Hi Kayla!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so happy to have you here and I'm thrilled to help you begin planning your 2018 magical vacation!

Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside is an incredible resort! We love all the special touches and taking walks by the Sassagoula River. While I'd be happy to stay there just for the southern charm and ambiance, the Royal Rooms are an extra fun touch. Many times in the past Disney's Port Orleans Resort properties have been excluded from any Free Dining offers, however, there is no way to know for sure until it's released for your travel dates. In fact, there's honestly no way to even know for sure when Disney will offer the Free Dining promotion or what the details will be as they seem to always change a bit from year to year. (The current promotion only offers Free Dining at the Value Resorts.) I'd keep my eye on the Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website and make sure to check the "Offer Details" page to see any restrictions once/if the promotion is released for your travel dates.

Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with. Until then, have a wonderful time planning your next Disney adventure.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
