For the "dads" on the panel. My husband is taking me on a getaway to Disney in December for 3 days. Since he always lets me do what I want, I would like to suprise him with something we can do together-but we don't golf & hes not a race fan.

Hey, Jennifer! I know I'm not a dad, but I have gone on a few getaway weekends with my husband...so I thought I would chime-in with my two-cents on some ideas.  What a sweet wife you are!

Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa as well as the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are our favorite spas for massages. We enjoy spending some time together in the health club and then, either experience separate or a couples massage. (Make sure you visit their sites to download a coupon for up to $50 off of spa services.) Both resorts have great dining as well, and we've topped off our afternoon at the spa with a dinner at the Turf Club (SSR) or one at Narcoossee's (GF).

Another great idea is to rent a pontoon boat and sail away together for an afternoon. If you're adventuresome, you can rent Sea Raycers, go on a backstage tour or go horseback riding (Fort Wilderness). For an anniversary, we loved having dinner at Fulton's Crab House at Downtown Disney and watching Cirque du Soleil. Tickets to see the acts at the House of Blues is a fun way to spend a grown-up evening, and now, DTD has a wonderful tethered hot-air balloon called Characters in Flight.

My husband and I are a bit competitive, and we like to bring our racquets to play the tennis courts or challenge each other in a game of mini-golf. We've also hit a water park by ourselves -- loads of fun in a romantic sort of way!  Lastly, my husband is definitely a carnivore, and he enjoys for me to make date-night reservations at the Yachtsman Steakhouse or Le Cellier at Epcot's Canada pavilion. Then, we like to stroll the Boardwalk at night to watch the street performers, and I "ooh and aah" as he attempts to win me a stuffed animal at the midway games!

Maybe this gives you some ideas on how to pay hubby back for being so sweet to you! Keep making those "deposits" in your marriage, and you'll have many happy days together at WDW and everywhere else, too! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
