    Hi Moms (& Dads)!! In Nov. we're staying at the POFQ...when I booked we requested ground level for my Dad who is 75 (he has trouble walking). Can you tell me which rooms are closest to the lobby so I will have some idea when I do online check-in? Than

    Hi Allison!

         You have chosen the perfect resort for your family!  Port Orleans French Quarter is the smallest resort on Walt Disney World Property and is sooo quaint and easy to get around.  Honestly, even the most remote room is no more than a five minute stroll from the lobby.  Building 5 is the closest to the action and Building 2 is just as close, but a little quieter.  I think that your dad will appreciate the convenience of this small resort, as well as its proximity to Downtown Disney.  If you have a chance, be sure to glide down the Sassagoula River on a boat ride to the wonderful shops and restaurants found in Downtown Disney.  Have a fabulous vacation!
