Hi Moms and Dads, Our next WDW vac. is not until May 2014. We know exactly which resort we want, BW, and which days we will be coming. When would be the earliest we could make a resort reservation and which part of Boardwalk is the best place to stay in?

    Hi, Rebecca!

At this time, Walt Disney World Resort reservations may be booked online for check-in dates up to and including December 31, 2013. In short, to make a resort reservation at this time, your stay must conclude no later than 499 days from now. Therefore, if calling Reservations directly (not using the Internet Reservations system) Guests can make reservations today for stays that conclude no later than February 28th, 2014. So, just calculate which dates in May you'd like to schedule your trip and contact WDW Reservations on the appropriate date in either December or January (depending on your date of check-out.) If you'd like to speak with a Cast Member in Reservations at this time via telephone, you'll surely be able to have him or her calculate that date for you. At the time of booking, you'll be charged a 1-night deposit rate, which will be set (for the time being) at the previous year's Peak Season rate. Once the rates for your stay are released, you'll receive an email informing you of the difference in rates for your stay.

Regarding a stay at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, you're going to love it!  For my most recent stay at this really lovely resort, I had a beautiful view of the picturesque Crescent Lake; I highly recommend that a Lake View be among your requests. You'll may also have a great view of the activities on the Boardwalk at night, so be sure to request a location facing the Boardwalk if you are people watchers.

With lots of time to plan, be sure to send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
