Oh my goodness!! This is such a difficult question to answer!!
They both offer similar amenities.
There are three potential tie breakers.
1. Location - do you prefer to be near Animal Kingdom Theme Park or Downtown Disney?
2. Dining - While Saratoga Springs has some nice restaurants at the resort, you will have more table service dining options at Animal Kingdom if you consider both the Lodge and Kidani Village. However, you also have to consider you are a short boat ride away from oodles of dining opportunities at Downtown Disney when staying at Saratoga Springs.
3. Ambience - when staying at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, you truly will feel like you are in your own private African safari. It's awe-inspiring. To me,
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa seems so much more open and bright. I'm not saying that is a good or bad thing. It's just a difference between the two resorts.
From either resort you will take a bus to the theme parks unless you will have your own personal vehicle.
What are the ages of your party members? Will you have kiddos with you that will enjoy seeing the animals or will you have adults that might wish to frequent the Spa or Downtown Disney?
As I said earlier, this is such a difficult decision. The only thing I can say with certainty is that I am confident you will love whichever Disney Vacation Clun Resort you select.
