Hi Janet!
My family always goes barefoot to the water parks. They try their best to keep all of the walking areas sprayed down with water to keep it cool on your feet, but there are some areas where we end up doing a hot dash to get to a shady section. Water shoes are sold at both water parks and it seems as though the prices are the same as if you were to purchase them elsewhere like a sports store. If you want a good quality water shoe that looks stylish and you can wear around the parks as well, look into Teva’s. We bought Teva’s for the whole family when we took a trip to Hawaii. These are sold at most sports stores and even in department stores like Macy’s. If you are just going to be using the shoes during your vacation to Disney World, check out your local Walmart and Target so you don’t end up spending a fortune on a pair of shoes that you will only wear a couple times.
Hoping you stay cool during your vacation!
Leslie
