Hi Moms and Dads. Luv the panel. Art of Animation? Worth the extra cost? Do you see prices going up or down at AOA in 2013? Heading down July 2013 and would need a suite (3 kids). Trying to be budget friendly but would prefer AOA over ASMu. Thank you.

    Hi Paula,

I love your question. I have found myself wondering the same thing.  Although we can only guess what will happen with resort prices moving forward, my guess is that eventually the prices at Disney's Art of Animation Resort will fall in line with Disney's other value resorts.  However, keep in mind that you have to compare the price of family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort with the family suites at Disney's All Star Music Resort since three-quarters of the rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort will be family suites.  Only the rooms in the Little Mermaid section of the resort will have the traditional size rooms that accommodate four guests.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort will only be one year old by the date of your vacation.  Therefore, it will still be the newest resort when you travel.  Therefore the prices my still be higher than equivalent rooms at Disney's All Star Music Resort.  However, I'll keep my fingers crossed that your family will find a great deal through your travel agent or by watching the promotions on the Walt Disney World special offers page.

Let us know if you need any advice as you plan your magical 2013 adventure!
