Hi Moms & Dads I love this panel! My husband and I are planning a trip for next December. We've been a lot of times, but never at Christmas. We are thinking 12/1/12-12/8/12. Is this a good time? What are crowds and weather like? Thanks for the he

    Hi Stephanie!

That's a great time to go!  All of the holiday decorations will be up and all of the special activities in the parks will have started.  It's my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World.  Furthermore, the crowds will be small to moderate (it used to be dead in Walt Disney World during the first two weeks of December, but it is becoming more popular).

The weather, however, is hit or miss in my opinion.  It will definitely be cool but sometimes it can actually be cold, especially at night.  I recommend guests bring hats and gloves, in addition to a jacket or sweater, from home; I think the best idea is to dress in layers and add or remove clothing as required.  That said, most of the times that I've been there in early December, it has not been too cold.

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
