Hi Moms and Dads, looking at booking our first cruise for a graduation celebration. Very excited!!! June would be ideal but I see it is the wettest monthin the Bahamas. Is it bad enough to ruin a trip? Thanks!!!

    Hi, Tracee!

Congratulations on booking your first cruise and the graduation! Don't let general predictions like "the wettest month" scare you off.  If you've ever been on an island, the weather changes fairly quickly. Therefore, even when the weatherman calls for a certain percentage of rain, you can bet that it won't last very long.  Ever heard of a Bahama breeze?  The wind is always blowing -- which makes the weather very difficult to predict.

You might want to pack a mini-umbrella or a rain slicker just in case, but don't be surprised if they never see any action. What you definitely don't want to forget is the sunscreen -- now, that's something you don't want to be caught without! I hope this helps you plan.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
