Hi Moms and Dads. I'm just reading up on the new Memory Maker. Does this mean they are doing away with Photopass and if so, does everyone have to purchase this package to access their photos taken in the parks? What about attractions? Thanks!

    Hi Casey,

    Great question!

I'm so glad that you've heard about the new Memory Maker package that was just announced. It's still hot off the presses, so I'm sure more details will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Like the legacy PhotoPass+ package that this replaces, the Memory Maker package will be an added-cost benefit for guests who enjoy getting their pictures taken by the PhotoPass photographers. However, it appears that guests can still use the base PhotoPass cards around the theme parks, attractions, and other experiences where PhotoPass photographers can be found. That being said, it appears that you can still utilize the free PhotoPasses if you'd prefer to just purchase individual photos on an a la carte basis (instead of getting them all via the Memory Maker package).

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
