Hi Moms and Dads, I'm looking to surprise my husband with a trip to WDW for his b-day (arrival date Oct 12). I understand that's a historically busy week. Why so busy? We usually head to WDW in Oct but never that week, what are we in for with crowd levels?

    Hey Elizabeth!

October 12th falls at the end of the Columbus Day week.  Many schools have off during this week, which may up the crowd levels a little.  The good news is, after the 12th, crowd levels will probably drop off considerably as everyone returns to work and school and you'll enjoy low crowds the rest of the week.  I wouldn't be concerned about crowd levels during your visit at all!

    Have a magical day,
