Hi Moms and Dads! I'm considering coming to WDW with my family but it will be our first time with a 16 month old I'm concerned about him not sitting through any table service meals do you have any suggestions on dining with a toddler who doesn't sit well?

Hi, Jamie!  When my kids were little, we did a lot of character buffets.  There is a lot of activity going on to keep little mouseketeers interested, and there is no wait for food - just head up to the buffet as soon as you are seated.   And just when the little ones start to get restless, a Disney pal will show up at your table for pictures and autographs.  Try Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, Cape May (breakfast), Hollywood and Vine (breakfast and lunch).

Family style service is also a good choice - Liberty Tree Tavern (no characters) or 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Polynesian.  There is also quick service dining which will allow you to get in and out quick.

Have fun with your little prince and take lots of pictures!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
