    Hello Moms and Dads, my husband I are staying at the Beach Club resort in April for our honeymoon. Do you have any suggestions for activities close to our resort that would make the trip extra special and fun for adults? Thank you so much!

    Hi Lauren:

    Disney World is a wonderful destination spot for adults.  The good news is that your resort is close by to the BoardWalk entertainment district and World Showcase in Epcot, which are extra special and fun areas for adults. 

    For starters, you can enjoy an upscale romantic dinner of seafood or steak at Flying Fish Cafe, right on the BoardWalk area, steps from your resort.  Then take in a stroll on the BoardWalk to enjoy the unique shops and entertainment, such as street performers and magicians.  Consider a beer at ESPN Club or a stop at Jellyrolls piano bar to cap the evening off.   

    Your resort is also close by to World Showcase at Epcot.  Take a walking tour of the World Showcase countries and try your favorite or new adult drinks while taking in some shopping.

    If you venture out to the Downtown Disney area, I would take a balloon ride with Characters in Flight, a very romantic experience with a breathtaking view of Disney World property and beyond.
