Hi Moms and Dads! My husband is looking for the best gluten free counter service offerings and treats. We will be arriving on May 30th and will be on the regular dining plan. Thanks for your help!

    Hello, Anne!

Walt Disney World has proven over the years that they are able to accommodate any food allergy that their Guests may have. In fact, there was just a recent blog post on the Disney Parks Blog announcing brand new Allergy-Friendly menus that will begin appearing in select Walt Disney World restaurants. When dining at a Quick-Service dining location, ask the Cast Member if they have specific gluten free menu items to choose from. They will also be sure that there will not be any cross-contamination of gluten while your husband's meal is bring prepared.

Erin Mckenna Bakery NYC is a new bakery located in the Downtown Disney area. They are a gluten free bakery that has sweet treats such as cakes, cookies, donuts, and more! Their items can also be found at select restaurants throughout Walt Disney World.

There is a very helpful website that may help you plan. AllergyEats.com has a Walt Disney World section you can find on the left-hand side of their website. You can search gluten free options by location and make your own 'must-do' list of things to try!

    Have a delicious vacation, Anne!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
