Hi Moms and Dads! My husband, daughter (7) and I will be staying @ POR in a few months. Are there bellhops to get luggage to the room? How about closet space, etc? We normally stay club level Contemp & Poly and wondering what to expect with a mod resor

Port Orleans Riverside definitely has bell service Cast Members on hand to deliver luggage to your room, Jenifer.  So, too, does the resort offer plenty of closet space.  In fact, in my experience, the closets take up the full length of one wall in the bathroom.  Closets at Port Orleans Riverside do not have doors; they are open to the dressing/vanity area of the bathroom.  There is also a shelf on top of the "closet" that serves as a great spot to store empty suitcases.

You will certainly notice that the moderate resorts don't offer the same level of amenities as the deluxe resorts (indoor hallways, transportation options, etc), but the moderate resorts do offer themed accommodations that are much gentler on a vacation budget.  Port Orleans Riverside, especially, boasts gorgeous grounds and down home charm.  Enjoy your stay there!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
