    We often have a late departure time on our last day too. I've found that the perfect ending to the perfect trip is one last hurrah with the characters at a character breakfast. It gives you the warm and fuzzies that come with character interactions plus one last chance for photo ops and a full belly to sustain you during your transit to the airport.

    There are a handful of character breakfasts that take place at Disney resorts (outside of the parks). We prefer to get a dining reservation for late in the morning so we have time to pack up before heading out. These are our favorite character spots to have breakfast/brunch outside of the parks:

    In the event that these restaurants don't have any availability, then I'd recommend visiting the resorts on the monorail loop and grabbing lunch at one of them (Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is stellar).
