    You Moms & Dads are great! I am leaving for our trip on 8/22. What stores can you save 10% on by using Disney Visa? On the web site it just says save 10% at select stores? Do I just ask? Thanks for all the GREAT tips.

    Hi, JoAnne!   I just love when I can save money on my Disney purchases!  

    The Disney Visa Discount is always a mystery to me!   It seems to change every shopping trip.   As of last week when I was in WDW, you needed to make a $50 minimum purchase for a 10% discount.   This usually works at the World of Disney Store and the gift shops in the theme parks.   But, you must ASK for it!  They rarely ask if you have a Disney Visa, and even when you ask, they always need to "check" if it is available that day - crazy, I know!  There also seems to be blackout days, like Thanksgiving Weekend, but that was last year, so you never know!

    The final answer:   ask EVERY time you purchase something at ANY location.  The worst thing they can say is NO, the best is you might get 10% off!   I even got a 10% discount once at Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney with my Disney Visa, who knew?!
