Hi Moms (and Dads)! Is the free dining plan ever offered during marathon weekend? Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!

I see you have plans to visit during the 2015 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna®.  Will you be participating in any of the runDisney race events happening that weekend? I hope so! As the runDisney Specialist on the Panel, I am here to help you navigate planning a wonderful race-cation.

Traditionally, Disney has not offered a free dining plan during this specific time of year. However, there is generally a room-only offer available that discounts rooms up to 30% off. Additionally, if you are participating in any race events, runDisney has Travel Packages available. For more information visit the Travel Tab on the runDisney website by selecting the highlighted link -- you may find a better offer and be able to book earlier as Special Offers available through Walt Disney World Resort for January will not be released until sometime this fall.

I hope you find this information helpful, Sarah! And please do not hesitate to ask me any additional questions you may have as you plan and prepare for your upcoming vacation.

    Have a magical day!
