    Hello Moms and Dads! I have found your panel VERY helpful. We are arriving mid afternoon on June 10th. We are staying at SOG and were hoping to walk over to the Poly to watch the fireworks from MK. At what time would you recommend we get there? Thanks

    Hi, Stacy!

    An evening relaxing on the beach at the Polynesian is just about my perfect evening!

    I would plan to be on the beach by 9:00 p.m.  This will allow you to enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant as it sails by (around 9:15 p.m.) with its fun music and whimsical light show.   After that, make a run to Captain Cooks for a snack, DoleWhip, or cool beverage, then get settled on the beach.  Relax and and take in the beautiful view until Wishes starts at 10:00 p.m.

    This is the perfect way to kick-off your magical vacation.  Enjoy your stay at Shades of Green!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home.
