Hi Moms and Dads, we are first time visitor to US and WDW from South Africa. Anything special for first time visitors having a "Mother and Daugther" birthday celebration? We share the same birth date!! :) We are staying at All Star Music. Thanks!

Hi, A! Happy birthday to you and your daughter! It sounds as though you already have a wonderful day planned!  I cannot think of a better way to spend a birthday than celebrating at Walt Disney World Resort.  Be sure that you both stop by Guest Services to get your birthday buttons.  This is a great, free way to garner all kinds of good wishes from Cast Members and other Guests alike.  A free birthday phone call from Goofy to your Disney Resort room can be arranged by calling 407-824-2222.

All Disney Table-Service restaurants except Victoria and Albert's offer six-inch chocolate or vanilla birthday cakes for purchase with no notice required.  If you prefer a more personalized cake, Disney's Cake Hotline allows you to choose the filling, icing , and personalized decorations.  Forty-eight hours notice is required.  You can reach them at 407-827-2253.  You can also search for a perfect gift basket at www.disneyflorist.com or room decorations from Disney Dream Makers (407-939-4438).  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
