Hi Moms (and dads)!! My family of 5 (mom, dad, DD7, DD6, and DS2) will be staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins May 23-28. In your opinion what is the best cabin loop to stay on? We will not be getting a golf cart and will be busy at the parks everyday.

Hi Michelle! My family stays often at the Fort Wilderness cabins. From loops 2700 and 2600 you can take the ten minute walk to the front bus area and not have to wait all the time for the internal bus.  It is a small hike but certainly doable.  Our favorite loops are the 2400 for quiet and 2100 because it is nice and small and still close to a bus stop.  We try to avoid 2300 and 2500 due to the terrain.

The bus stops are located outside of loop 2200 and between 2700 and 2800 loops.  2800 has a large number of handicap cabins and 2700 is a very large loop.
