Hi moms and dads! We are driving down to WDW in August and staying @ Pop Century. We have several ADRs at other resorts: HDDR, Cape May Cafe, Boma, and O'Hana. Is it easier to drive to any of these ADRs or take disney transporation? Thanks so much!

    Hi Victoria!

I suggest driving since it's a huge advantage and you'll already have access to a car. Don't get me wrong; I feel very comfortable using Disney transportation and use it often for transportation to say, Magic Kingdom. But, it cuts into time that could be better spent having fun on vacation! This is especially true when you are dining at other resorts, because for the most part, there is no direct resort to resort transportation available. So you'll have to change buses at a park or the Transportation and Ticket Center to get to your reservation. You might spend an hour in transit on Disney transportation, while driving directly most likely would get you to your destination within 10-20 minutes, if not less. Plus you'll be on your schedule which is a huge convenience (especially if it is hot outside or raining).

Disney transportation can very well get you to where you need to go. We always drive to Walt Disney World, and on some of our vacations, we parked our car at the resort and didn't see it again until our departure day. It's easy to go from one of the parks to a dinner or lunch reservation at a resort and back again. If you do rely on Disney transportation while on your vacation though, budget your time so you avoid feeling rushed. Hope this helps!
