Hi Moms (and Dads). We will take the Disney Magic Expres to AKL. I know that we can have our luggage transported separately, but I think we would rather retrieve it from the baggage carousel ourselves and take it with us on the bus. Is that allowed? Tks

    Hi Maria,

You can absolutely pick up your own baggage at Orlando International Airport and bring it onboard with you on Disney's Magical Express.  We do this when we have early dinner plans and need our luggage relatively soon after checking into our resort.  Baggage will be stowed underneath the bus.  In order to pick up your own bags, do not affix the yellow baggage tags that are sent to you from Magical Express.  (Bags will yellow tags will automatically be picked up and delivered to your resort several hours after you check-in.)   When your flight lands, proceed to the appropriate baggage claim area and secure your belongings.  Once you have your things, head over to the Magical Express Counter in order to catch a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    Have a magical trip!
