Hello moms and dads! Where can my DD8 get a hairwrap and how much are they? Thanks and can't wait, 45 more days!

    Hi Amanda,

How exciting that your vacation countdown is ticking away!   Hair wrapping is a popular activity at Disney World, and you'll see lots of little (and not so little) girls walking around with wraps.  Hair wraps are when a small section of the hair is wrapped/covered with a colorful embroidery floss. Decorative beads can also be added to the end of the wrap. Prices are subject to change, but currently a wrap costs $2 per inch. Beads are extra and range in price depending upon how "fancy" they are.  I recommend getting an estimate for your daughter based on what she is interested in getting done before you start.

Hair wrap stands are located by the pools of many of the Walt Disney World resorts, including Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club, Grand Floridian, Caribbean Beach and Port Orleans, as well as on the BoardWalk, at Downtown Disney, and in the Animal Kingdom near the entrance to Camp Mickey Minnie.   Most hair wraps can be done in 15 to 20 minutes, but can take longer if you are interested in having many wraps done. The wraps tend to last several weeks and can withstand many washings.

I hope your daughter has fun and your entire family has a magical vacation!
