Hi moms and dads! 14 days until our 1st trip to Disney World, and even my 2 year-old son is so excited!! I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes. We have ADR's at Crystal Palace. Do I need to call before we arrive, or can I just talk to our server?

    Hey Sara,

Hope all is well with your new one on the way! It's no problem that diet issues have just popped up for you. Walt Disney World will still ensure that you stay is magical. I think it would be a great idea for you to call to put in the special request for your dietary concerns. I would also remind the Cast Member/Server of your special request as well. Be prepared, the chef may come to speak with you specifically to suggest a variety of food choices. I always think that its cool when the head chef takes time to come speak to a guest. But that is the Disney way! I wish you and your family the best, and create wonderful memories on your vacation!
