Hi moms and dads! I was just curious if anyone on the panel would consider buying in the Golden Oaks community in WDW? Also what are your opinions on it? My family would love to be there!

    Hi Jamie!

I'm going to be very truthful in my answer.  I toured the Golden Oaks community back in December of 2010.  It's going to be amazing, and I wish that I could live there.  Unfortunately for me, it's not in the cards any time soon.

Golden Oak is named after a ranch in California that was owned my Mr. Walt Disney.  The homes and grounds are going to be stunning, and at this time, there are proposed plans to have a Four Seasons Resort on the property.  Also proposed is a clubhouse for its residents.  The clincher for me is that they may be offering VIP transportation (door to door) to the parks!

Please keep in mind that what I know about Golden Oaks is still in the works, and Disney Imagineering is constantly developing new ideas to increase the magic.

Good luck to you, and I hope that your dreams come true!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
