Hi! My dad's cousin lives on Oahu and has two kids. My mom thought we could invite the kids to swim at the pool, but I thought it was reserved for resort guests only. I just wanted to make sure before she made a promise we couldn't keep. Thanks!

    Hi Catherine!

I'm so glad that you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us, and I'm happy to help! I'm sure you are beyond excited about your upcoming trip to Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawaii. It sounds amazing, and I know you are going to have a fabulous time!

The policy regarding pool use states that "you must wear a wristband to use the pools, pool chairs and beach chairs at Aulani Resort and a new wristband is required each day. Wristbands are only given to those staying at the resort and your daily allocation of wristbands is based on the number of Guests in your travel party and cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of your specific room type." So it sounds like you probably wouldn't be able to invite your family members to join you at the pool. However maybe you could find an excursion that you could all enjoy together, or you could have them join you for dinner at the resort so that you could spend some time with them during your visit. If the children are young, it might even be fun to do a character meal at Makahiki - The Bounty of the Islands. Just be sure to make a reservation in advance if you decide to do this since these character dinners are only held on select nights.

Catherine, I do hope this helps with your planning and if you think of any other questions, just let us know. Enjoy your vacation and make lots of magical memories!
