Hello Moms & Dads! We just booked a Value with a special offer with WDW and we wanted to know if the QS DP would be best. How much extra is the dining plan? The hotel came out to $300 if that helps any. Also we are going in December. Thanks for everyth

    Hi Emily,

I'm not sure how much extra the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan would cost you as the prices vary based on the length of your stay and time of year.  I suggest you call the travel agent or the Disney reservation office with whom you booked the package to see what the plan would cost.  I would, however, heartily endorse the use of the Disney Dining Plan.  My family uses it often when we vacation at Walt Disney World.

Now, with regard to deciding between the Quick Service Plan and other Disney Dining Plans, I would suggest you look at the dining options on the Walt Disney World website.  If there are a significant number of table service restaurants you'd like to explore, I would go with the Basic Disney Dining Plan that includes one table service, one quick service, and one snack credit per person, per day.  That's the plan my family typically selects.  If, however, you don't imagine yourself taking time every day to have a sit-down meal, then the Quick Service Plan would be the perfect choice.  There are dozens of amazing quick service restaurants from which you can choose while you're vacationing at Walt Disney World.
