Hi Moms and Dads! Big family trip planned 9/29-10/5/13 w/ DH,DD4, our parents and sibs. Will be visiting all the parks. Am wondering if all the various parades and fireworks still occur in Sept/Oct? I've only visited in the summer months previously. Thanks

    Hi Brooke!

You are traveling at one of my favorite months! You can anticipate a multitude of parades and fireworks shows during your dates, as you would normally throughout other times of the year.

Although dates are not yet released, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will likely occur during your trip, as well. This hard ticket event will require special admission, but I would highly encourage you all to attend AND in costume! Mickey's "Boo to You" Halloween Parade is by far, one of the best parades to grace Walt Disney World Resort (in my opinion) as many villains will emerge to create especially fun MAGIC for your family! Pay special attention to the very front of the parade, as the Headless Horseman will gallop right before your eyes! Following the parade, you'll be able to view Happy HalloWishes fireworks, exclusive to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Not to worry, Brooke, your vacation will be filled with just as much entertainment as any other time of the yEAR, and purchasing your special event tickets will create a SPOOKtacular time for your family!

Happy planning and I'm glad to help with any other questions.
