Hi Moms & Dads! I have an appt for my DS8 at The Pirates League, but I have a DD11 and she's too old for PL and BBB. Are there any special activities appropriate for her age group? Thanks!

    Hello Emily!

The Pirates League is an excellent choice for your son.  He'll get to choose a special pirate look and muck about with Captain Jack's Crew.  Arghhh!  I would suggest that you reconsider your decision regarding your 11 year old daughter and Pirate's League.  Not only do many girls her age enjoy the experience, but adults participate as well!  She can choose to be a Pirate Empress or a Mermaid.  The facial effects are extremely well done.

Testing has just begun for a new interactive game in Magic Kingdom Park called "A Pirate's Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas."  It's located right in Adventureland, where Pirates League is also located. Participants can choose from 5 different missions, and is open to all guests of Magic Kingdom Park.  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for it's official opening, but that should be any time now!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Please let me know if I can help answer and other planning questions.

Until then, I wish you a magical vacation!
