Hi Moms & Dads! I just came across your site what wonderful information! I was just approved for disability because I am severely disabled. I have major back issues and Fibromyalgia. This is my 1st trip what areas should I focus on for my girls of 7 &

Hi, Virginia!  I only see the age of one daughter, but regardless of the age, I always recommend that guests visit the Magic Kingdom.  It is the one part of Walt Disney World most people think about when they think "Disney", and there are so many classic attractions there!  You'll be able to enjoy the Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, the Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean, which are all attractions that have been around forever, with legions of fans.  My kids so love the interaction of the Buzz Lightyear attraction as well.

I also like Disney's Hollywood Studios for first time guests.  Toy Story Midway Mania is one of our favorite attractions anywhere, and you'll be able to enjoy some really wonderful shows.  EPCOT really deserves a full day too, if you can swing it.

With your disabilities, please stop in at Guest Services and check out the Guest Assistance Card option.  Especially for things like Fibromyalgia, which isn't a disability that can be recognized by an outsider very easily, the Guest Assistance Card can offer cast members some information that may better help you enjoy your vacation.  They may be able to provide you with a seated waiting area or an alternate queue to make things easier for you.

I hope your first visit to Walt Disney World is filled with magical moments and gives you a lifetime of happy memories!  If you need anything else to help you plan, come back and see me!
