My daddy will turn 60 while we're visiting Disney. I'm not sure what's available that would interest him. Also, do you have any dining suggestions for his celebration?

    Hello Crystal,

My Dad recently traveled with our family to Disney World, and he loved every minute of our trip. My Dad is in his 60's, and it really shows that Disney is for kids of all ages. He enjoyed attractions like It's a Small World and Soarin' but also wanted to spend time at the Resort pool - the same things we all would want to do. But we also offered to book him a tee time at one of Disney's Golf Courses or to go on a fishing excursion. Or maybe he's more of a transportation buff. He'll like the Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour. There's so many options! But again remember, no matter what, I think your Dad will have tons of fun doing whatever you choose because he's with you!

As for birthday dinners, I always think spending my birthday with the head Mouse himself is a wonderful way to celebrate. So Chef Mickey's is one of my suggestions. As a buffet, there's bound to be something for everyone's palette. Does he like steak? Try the filet at Jiko. Like seafood? How about the Chef's Table at Flying Fish Cafe?

No matter what you choose, I hope you and your Dad have a magical vacation!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
