My Dad is 76 years old and use wheelchair. We are going to rent a car. I wonder if can I use the designated parking area for guest with disabilities at the Parks and Resort without a "valid disability parking permit"? or, How can I get one?

    Hi Edith,

My mother, too, is in a wheelchair.  When she is traveling in someone else's car, she brings along her handicap parking permit that hangs from the rear view window. To obtain one, you'd need to contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel. If you have more questions, please let us know.  My mother has been to WDW several times with us, so I'm more than happy to help with any questions you would have about visiting WDW with a family member in a wheelchair.

    Have a great trip!
