You Moms and Dad are wonderful. We have a golf day planned for "the guys" but we need to find something to do for a "ladies day." Any suggestions? (No Kids). Thanks! Travel dates Dec. 6-13, 2008. 39 Days to go!

I wish the guys in the group a fun golf outing.

Now for the ladies! I highly recommend that the gals visit the Grand Floridian Resort for afternoon tea at the Garden View Lounge. I had the pleasure of enjoying tea with my mom and Disney Mom Kara at the GF this past June. It's a relaxing and charming experience in a beautiful setting. The ladies will enjoy delectable treats along with their conversation.

Afterwards, I would walk over to the Grand Floridian spa for pedicures or other pampering treatments. Or perhaps begin a shopping journey at the stores inside the Grand Floridian. Ladies can pick up some nice soaps in Basin on the second floor of the GF's grand lobby. After exploring the GF, the grown up princesses can continue to the Contemporary Resort. Traveling via boat or monorail will make the journey lots of fun. After exploring the 4th floor Concourse shops, continue on to the Polynesian Resort!

More shopping can be found at Downtown Disney where shops usually open at 9:30 a.m.

For a more adventurous morning, the ladies could rent a pontoon boat and relax on the Seven Seas Lagoon!

For further inspiration look no further than Disney Mom Laura's video. Just follow the link and click on "A Great Place for Grown Ups". (You may need to visit page 2 of the video listings.)

The ladies may want to spend a day in Epcot shopping and sharing a champagne toast in France!
