My dad and I are trying to figure out how to get into SW Galaxy’s Edge. Do we still have to get into the virtual queue the morning of? We also want to get into Oga’s Cantina, but do we need a reservation or can we walk in?

    Bright Suns, Elizabeth!

Wow, it is so exciting that you and your Dad are planning on exploring Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios! I sense through the Force that you desire to experience the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction.

Currently, the virtual queue for this incredible attraction is paused, but there are two ways to enjoy Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The first is through the standby line. My tip is to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios at least 30 minutes or more before it is scheduled to open on that particular day and go to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to get in the standby line. I have minimized my wait time for this attraction by using this strategy. The other method is to purchase an individual Lightning Lane attraction pass to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance through the Disney Genie service.

Oga's Cantina is an out-of-this-world experience. Based on my over ten adventures at Oga's Cantina, I certainly recommend dining there! Your priority is to try to get a dining reservation through Disney Dining. Keep checking as your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up as sometimes availability opens up. Oga's Cantina often takes walk-up reservations based on availability for that particular day. My recommendation is to arrive at Oga's Cantina as soon as possible when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens and get your name on the list for a possible reservation on that day.

May the Force be with you as you explore Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!
