Hello, Ryan!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your dad's service to our country. I love that eligible United States military members can access specially-priced theme park tickets to visit Disneyland Resort!
According to the
Terms and Conditions for Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets, one of the Disney Military Promotional Tickets purchased must be used by the Eligible Service Member or their spouse. It sounds like one of your parents will need to purchase one of the Disney Military Promotional Tickets for the rest of your family to enter the theme parks. I know that is disappointing news! The Eligible Service Member can purchase up to a total of six tickets. Depending on the ticket type of the One Day Park Hopper, your dad or mom might be able to gift their ticket to someone else. Or, they could have their own special day at Disneyland Resort at a different time! If you have other specific ticket questions, you can also call the
Disneyland Tickets Line.
After you get your tickets figured out, make sure to make
theme park reservations for each day of your visit. Guests need to select which park they want to begin their day in, either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park. Guests with valid Park Hopper tickets and park reservations can
crossover between theme parks on the same day beginning at 11:00 a.m., subject to availability.
I am sorry this was not the news you were hoping for! I will mention that my kids love visiting Disneyland Resort with their grandparents. Being able to experience their favorite vacation destination with their favorite people is the ultimate experience for my kids! We often head back to the hotel in the afternoon for a mid-day break, which both the kids and grandparents appreciate! Lunchtime dining reservations are also a nice way to take a break from the warm summer days.
Ryan, I hope your family has a wonderful trip to Disneyland Resort! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Magic Happens!
