Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to hear you’re planning a future visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Let’s talk about the types of Walt Disney World tickets available for eligible service members.
It sounds like you’re familiar with the
Disney Military Salute tickets. Eligible service members can purchase up to 6 Military Salute tickets, and at least one of the tickets must be used by the service member or their spouse. Another option would be to purchase non-promotional theme park tickets through
Shades of Green Resort. These tickets are discounted, but do not require activation by the service member. To purchase these tickets, your dad can submit an online ticket form through Shades of Green Resort. Of course,
standard theme park tickets can also be purchased on the Walt Disney World website.
You can also look at the
Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website for other active deals. At this time, I don’t see any ticket offers, but there are Resort deals. You didn’t mention when you plan on visiting, so you can continue checking to see if any ticket offers are added.
Disney Parks Blog recently shared that in November, Disney Experiences will announce
2026 offers for eligible service members visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line as part of “Disney Celebrates America.”
