My Dad retired from GE, General Electric. Do GE employees/retirees still get discounts on Disney park passes? Thanks sjs

    Hi Steven, welcome to planDisney!

My dad retired one month ago and I keep dropping hints about a place he can spend some of his extra time. Walt Disney World Resort is a place where kids and kids at heart can have fun together (or separately). He might not be up for the newest Disney thrills like TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park but he's definitely interested in the topic of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

From the Disney side of things, there are not currently any Special Offers at Walt Disney World Resort tied to specific employers. It sounds like your dad was once eligible for discounted tickets through his employer, General Electric. To see if that remains the case, he should reach out to GE's benefits program for details about current offerings.

I hope this information helps you plug into the information you seek, Steven. When you're ready to plan the next step of your Disney vacation, you know where to find us!
