Hi Moms and Dad. Planning to visit all 4 parks next summer. Will have 3 children (8,4,&1). Would you recommend the Beach Club or the Polynesian? Thanks for all advice.

    Oh!  Such a tough choice...

It depends on a few things.  How long is your trip?  Where do you plan to spend most of your time?  Are you interested in a character meal?

If you will be there for a week or more, you'll probably have a few afternoons devoted to swimming, especially since you're visiting in the summer.  If that's the case, Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club is unmatched when it comes to pools.  This is, by far, the best pool on property (in my not-so-humble opinion of course).  My family had such a great time hanging out there because there was something fun for each of my children (who range in age from 2 to 14).

Of course, if you plan to spend a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom the Polynesian offers unbeatable convenience because you can hop on the monorail and zip over to the park in a matter of minutes.  You don't even have to fold up those two strollers, just wheel them right on and off without the hassle of unpacking anybody!

Now, for the character meals...on this merit alone I wouldn't make a decision.  However, if you're leaning one way perhaps let this be the clincher.  Both resorts offer character breakfasts.  If your kiddos would enjoy eggs and potatoes with Lilo and Stitch more than they would waffles with Minnie, a stay at the Polynesian might be in order.  Of course, you'll also want to give some weight to the fact that the Beach Club is within walking distance of the World Showcase where you'll find not only excellent sit-down choices for dinner, but a very popular princess breakfast as well.

As you can probably tell, I'm not best known for my decision making ability.  Hopefully I've given you some things to consider though in making the decision that best suits your family.  But, just in case you're like me and you struggle with decisions, let me just say that I'd probably opt for the Beach Club.

Whew.  That was tough for me.  :)
