Hello Deborah!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing another question to us. It is a pleasure to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
I love planning my family’s dining adventures at the place where dreams come true. Everything looks so delicious and I just feel like trying everything! Sometimes, however, I also find that I am not very hungry to order an adult entrée at Table-Service restaurants. In some occasions I was able to order a kids’ meal in the past, but this really depends on each restaurant. Talk to your server to see if that’s possible at the locations you are planning to dine at.
What I often do is order an appetizer only. I think this is a great alternative to ordering an entrée if you are a light eater. Table-Service restaurants have great selections, and some of my favorites are the salad and soup options. I also think the appetizers appeal more to adult tastes. In the end I even end up having room for a dessert, which sometimes does not happen if I order a regular entrée.
Deborah, did you know you can make advance dining reservations up to 180 days prior to your visit? I highly recommend that you do so, as most restaurants are very popular. You can make reservations
online, by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app or by calling (407) 939-3463.
I hope this helps you while planning. Please stop by real soon with more questions!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
