Hi Moms and Dad love your panel! I have a 4 yo DS and a 2 yo DD our vacation is in mid October and I have seen info about Mickey"s Halloween party what does it include, is the park closed to the rest of the guests, and is it worth getting tickets for

    Hi Jackie,

I have gone to MIckey's No So Scary Halloween Party with a 2, 4, 6, and 7 yr old.  Each child absolutely loved it.  It still remains my favorite "party" at WDW and I have gone to Mickey's Princess and Pirate Party, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

First off, its a lot of fun for the kids to get dressed up.  From my experience they look forward to that night all vacation.  At the party there is an exclusive parade and fireworks show.  If your little one is scared of fireworks you may want to plan on heading to a restaurant or ride during the show.

The park does close to all other guests.  This is a huge plus because the crowds are kept very low.  You will have the advantage of being able to go on any ride as much as you want with little or no wait.  Admission to the party also allows you to Trick or Treat throughout the park.  At different locations there will be large glowing Mickey balloons indicating where the candy is.  My daughter was 2 the last time we went, she has a blast looking for the balloons and holding out her bag to the castmembers.

If your kids like to meet and greet characters, they will get a kick out of seeing some of them dressed up in their halloween customers.  There are also some rarely seen characters during the Halloween Party.  Last year were able to see Snow White and all 7 of the dwarfs.

I think it is a "not to be missed" event at WDW.
