My dad lives in FL, my children do not. But they are going to stay with my father during the summer and he wants to take them to DW. Can he get his resident ticket rate for them or do I need to purchase separately?

Hey there, Kimberly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for bringing us your question!

My very first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort was with my grandmother. I will never forget walking into Main Street U.S.A. with my grandma and big sis, seeing Cinderella’s Castle for the first time; it took my breath away! Still does to this day. I know your kids will cherish every second with their grandad at the place where Magic is endless!

Florida resident special offers are a great way to save when locals visit the magical Walt Disney World Resort! They are restricted to Florida residents and proof of residency is required to take advantage of these special deals and discounted tickets. But, only adults over the age of 18 need to show proof of residency. So, if your children are under 18, your father should be able to purchase these tickets for them and as long as he visits with them, they shouldn’t have a problem enjoying the parks with their grandad and making magical summertime memories together!

I hope they all have an absolutely wonderful time this summer. Be sure to come back and visit us again soon!
