Hi Moms and Dad! Considering the POFQ. Need to heat our breakfast in the microwave. How far away can it be and will the food get cold before returning to room? Can we heat and eat in the same area? Luv the panel, so helpful. Thanks!

Hi, Jaynee!   Port Orleans French Quarter is the smallest of the Moderate Resorts with just over 1,000 rooms.    This  gives you a shorter walk from the food court area (where you will find a microwave) back to your room.    While I cannot guarantee that your food will stay warm if you take it back to your room, you can simply dine right inside the food court where there are tables and chairs for your use.   It might be easier to just eat in the food court since it is stocked with napkins and plastic cutlery.

If you plan to have breakfast at the resort every day, you might want to invest in a refillable mug (about $12.99 plus tax, subject to change.)    You can refill your mug as often as you want with coffee, soft drinks, hot chocolate, or tea.

Enjoy your stay at Port Orleans French Quarter!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
